Before we reach in details let us know what really acne is:
We have sebaceous glands in our skin to keep our skin nourished with enough of oil content that contains the oil glands in the tiny pores of the skin covering the face, arms, back and chest because it contains the highest population of the sebaceous glands. It is also called as pimples (commonly called whiteheads, milia) and black heads, comedone (acne vulgaris). A black head may not be black only it can be in yellowish, brownish yellow etc.
Highest forms of acne are inflammatory. Hormones make a drastic change to make hyper active the oil glands in the teenage or puberty, Family history and hereditary factors involve in this too. Even bacteria tend to live in this oil glands resulting in pus formation and redness and infections. Commonly affects in the adolescence. It has no gender variation.
Males have hormone testosterone during puberty
Females tend to have increased acne before 7-14 days before the menstrual cycle starts due to increased hormone level for the teen girls and in older girls the intake of contraceptive pills which contain the hormone progesterone is responsible for acne.
Risk factors involve oily hair, tension and stress levels of a particular individual because if a person is in stress one stimulates the hormones cortisol and adrenaline in increased levels leading some individuals worsening acne.
STRESS >>>>>>>>>>>>> DOES NOT CAUSE ACNE –IT ONLY WORSENS.
ACNE HAS NO RELATION TO DIRT AND NOT CAUSED BY DIRT
CARE AT THIS STAGE:
Should ever never try to squeeze nor to pick out the pimple so is the case the bacteria tends to move much deeper and worsening the situation.
Most teens tend to take non-prescribed medications at this point of time to get rid of the pimples which make a way to have side effects.
Use your finger tips while washing which reduces the skin irritation and the face wash you use should be mild and never scrub the skin hard in any circumstances.
If u have an oily hair make a habit to wash your hair daily (recommended).
ANY KIND OF FOOD DOES NOT AFFECT ACNE (GREASY FOOD AND CHOCOLATES)
Environmental conditions (humidity levels), irritants can cause acne. It can be worsened by mechanical obstructions such as collars of shirt and helmets.
